Sprint Performance Tracker for iOS.

Getting Started

Getting Started

Tap 'New Session' to log a sprint workout. Enter any distance in metres (e.g., 30, 60, 100, 200, 300), select your run type, enter your time, and add reps. You can also log drills and strides completed during the session.

Session Types & Run Types

Choose a workout type (Blocks, Tempo, Flying, or add your own) and a run type for each rep (Standing Start, Blocks, Flying, Tempo, or add custom types). Custom types you add are saved and available across all future sessions.

Training vs Race Sessions

Tag each session as Training or Race using the category selector. Race sessions appear in the Race tab of Trends with dedicated analysis. Training sessions appear in the Training tab with filterable rep history.

Drills & Strides

Log drills (A Skips, Bounds, Wall Drives, etc.) and stride distances (50m–200m) completed during your session. Tap 'Add Drill' or 'Add Stride Distance' and set the number of reps for each.

Analysis & Scoring

Analysis & Scoring

Sprint Coach calculates speed and acceleration scores based on your times and distance. Scores are normalized to elite-level benchmarks. Your sprint profile (Elite, Advanced, Intermediate, Beginner) is determined by your 100m-equivalent pace.

Personal Bests

Personal bests are automatically detected when you log a faster time than your current PB for a given distance. PBs are tracked for 60m, 100m, 200m, and 400m. You can also manually enter or edit your PBs in Edit Profile (More tab).

Edit Profile

Update your name, age, weight, height, sport, event/speciality, and personal bests anytime from the More tab → Edit Profile. All fields entered during onboarding are editable.

Trends & Analytics (Pro)

Sprint Coach Pro unlocks per-distance trend analysis, split timing breakdowns for 200m & 400m, PB tracking & comparison, coach feedback, training log with filters, and performance report sharing. 14-day free trial, then £1.99/month.

Timing Accuracy

Manual timing is less accurate than electronic systems. Hand timing typically adds 0.1-0.3s compared to FAT. Use consistent timing methods for meaningful trend analysis.

Data & Privacy

Data & Privacy

Your workout data is stored locally on your device. When you log a session with a location entered, your approximate location coordinates are sent to a weather service to fetch temperature, humidity, and wind conditions for that session. No personal data or workout times are sent to any server. You can use the app without location services — just enter weather conditions manually.
